Advanced Security Training
PSD/VIP PROTECTION COURSE
The rise of extremism both overseas and here in the United States has driven the need for trained protection officers to new heights. Threats from criminal organizations, extremist groups and terrorist operatives are increasing both at home and abroad. High level threats against witnesses, suspects, judges, visiting dignitaries and other government officials can only be dealt with by highly trained operators. These operators act as a very effective deterrent to violence against a principle, or in extreme situations a shield against a direct attack.

An increased number of states are now allowing honest citizens to carry a weapon concealed for protection. The courses we offer are designed to prepare the responsible, adult gun owner to handle their weapons in a safe and effective manner under all circumstances.
Force on Force Training
AAPT conducts "Force on Force" security training for armed guards, fugitive recovery agents, executive protection agents and armored car drivers. This is the best tactical training available when it comes to getting serious about surviving a deadly encounter with an armed suspect. We utilize the latest in "Mil Sim" or "Airsoft" weaponry to achieve realism and induce the highest levels of stress possible.

Firearms Training Simulators
AAPT offers the latest in firearms training technology by providing a dedicated "Force Option" firearms simulator room and scenario machine. This is the same program used by numerous law enforcement and military organizations around the world.
AAPT believes it is important for this technology to be available to the security guard and other professionals. With over 450 scenarios to choose from, AAPT instructors can challenge the student with a "high pressure virtual shootout" in complete safety.
The Firearms Training Simulator also supports marksmanship and judgmental training for non-lethal options such as verbal commands, baton, chemical spray and TASER® in addition to hundreds of different firearm types.
